General Scope of Project
The scope of this project included the design-build construction of a new 450,000 square feet Tier 5 data center for General Electric Appliance Park.
Role and Self-performed Work
United Electric was a prime subcontractor on this project. We were responsible for the installation of all medium- and low-voltage power distribution, fire alarm, mass notification, biometric security systems including POE CCTV. Additional scope included UPS, Generation with programmable switch gear and 15 KV power station. Project was a fast track installation, with a 9 month construction schedule, and over 150,000 man hours worked.
